Eligibility Requirments
Admission to the Bachelors Degree Completion in Criminal
Justice is based upon evaluation of each candidate’s academic
and work record.
All applicants are required to meet the
following requirements:
- Grade point average of 2.0 or better
- Completion of at least 60* transferable semester (90 quarter) units.
- Completion of all four CSU-approved General Education requirements: speech communication, freshman English composition, critical thinking,
and mathematic/quantitative reasoning with a grade of C or better; or completion of the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) requirements in English communication and mathematical concepts and quantitative reasoning.
- Completion of at least 30 semester units of college coursework with a grade of C- or better to meet General Education requirements in communication, arts and humanities, social science, science and mathematics.
- Completion of at least 12 units of Criminal Justice prerequisites. (70 units preferred)
- Students who have fewer than 70 lower division units will have to take additional courses at the Community College level.
