Program Overview
This program is designed to provide all the elements of a
BA in Criminal Justice from CSU Stanislaus in a format that
considers the needs of working peace officers and others in
the field of Criminal Justice.
This program is built on class meetings two evenings each week with a new course being offered every five weeks, so police officers and others employed in criminal justice fields will be able to take classes while continuing to work at their jobs.This degree completion program mirrors the CSU Stanislaus BA in Criminal Justice program offered at the Turlock and Stockton campuses, but with more flexibility.
Students will take 50 units of upper division course in Criminal Justice and the Law Enforcement specialization, in addition to General Education requirements.
The faculty for these courses
will merge academic study of subject material with the
application of those principles to real-life law enforcement
and criminal justice situations, building on the experiences
of the students in each class.
