    2. Successful completion of the following courses or their equivalents:

Statistics, preferably a course that includes probability theory

      Organic Chemistry Laboratory

    4. The Graduate Record Exam (General exam) – no minimum score requirement. The general aptitude test of the Graduate Record Examination is a requirement of the Graduate Division. Applicants should arrange to take the test in October or December so that scores will be available at the time of the admissions review. There is no objection to submission of scores from successive tests if these are taken more than once. Scores must be no more than 5 years old. GRE results are only one of many factors considered in the decision process.

    5. At least six months experience in a volunteer or work related position that involves counseling, e.g. working in a crisis intervention center, student health center, family planning clinic, or serving as a resident advisor or peer counselor.

Candidates lacking one or more of the prerequisites may be admitted on a conditional basis. However, these applications may be less competitive than complete applications. We welcome applications from members of minority groups and from international applicants. Applications for admission will be accepted only for the fall semester of each new academic year.
